When I first reached out to Rebecca (Balanced Community), I was honestly terrified to start training again. I had been out of the gym for so long, I felt weak, confused, and embarrassed to even step foot in there. I thought I needed to ‘get fit first’ before I could work with a coach. But she met me exactly where I was.

She never made me feel silly for asking questions, and she explained everything in a way that actually made sense, form, tempo, how to lift properly, how to eat enough food… things I wish I learned years ago. Every session, she taught me something new about my body and my strength. She made me realise that I didn’t need to punish myself to feel good, I just needed the right structure and support.

The biggest thing she helped me with was confidence. She made me feel capable again. I walked in scared of weights, and I walked out a woman who actually looked forward to training. I started lifting heavier than I ever imagined. My clothes fit better, my energy improved, and I didn’t feel guilty around food anymore, in fact, she showed me that eating more was what my body needed.

I am genuinely so grateful for her. Working together wasn’t just ‘getting back into fitness.’ It was learning how to trust myself, how to train properly, and how to feel strong again. Rebecca didn’t just help me get results, she helped me change my entire relationship with health in the most empowering way. I wouldn’t be where I am now without her.
